Let’s Get Stoned at Andy’s

 

It sounded a good idea – the Team Leader had gone away for a few days before having surgery on his knees. What an opportunity! However, when we arrived Chris said we needed to clear a few stones from Andy’s fields so that his horses didn’t hurt their feet. So we set to it. It soon became clear that moving the stones in buckets was going to take forever so we sent for some wheelbarrows. Have you ever tried to push a wheelbarrow full of stones to the top of a hill? So we sent for a Land Rover and trailer. On we toiled. Darkness fell, friendly horses were now ghostly shadows on the skyline, the moon came up but on we toiled. Some people really enjoyed the electric fence joke. – The moral of the story: Never accept an invitation to get stoned at Andy’s!
